The Stable(?) Crossing Area

This is the area most horses cross. It's stable(?)

I trot over and test the ice by stepping on it lightly. It holds, so I walk out all the way. "It's perfect for Ice Skating!" I decide, and start sliding around very... er... gracefully [not.]

I look at the ice. "Er...Are you sure?" I ask hesitantly.

"YEAH!" I yell as I whiz by on the ice, my hooves skidding all over the place. "It's completely stable!"

I bend down and exaggeratedly place a hoof on the ice, then jerk away as it squeaks a little.

I grind my hooves into the ice and once again 'gracefully' tumble onto the side of the river. "You're such a scaredy-uh... horse. Come on!" I nudge him forward and slide onto the ice like an awesome professional ice skater.

I finally skid onto the ice and try to gain my footing. But I end up crashing into a drift of snow. "Normally, I'm not this clumsy," I say while quickly scrambling up.

I shake the snow out of my mane. "Everyone's clumsy on ice. Except for me. Because I'm AWESOME!" I slide to the side and fall down before scrambling back up.

I glare at her, then start ferociously churning the ice to prove I was a better ice skater.

"You're gonna break it," I point out. "You don't have to be the best at everything. Nobody beats me at Ice Skating anyways."

"ALRIGHT THEN! IT'S ON!" I gather my momentum and zoom after him, not caring that we're probobly heading to thin ice. I have to win this thing.
