The Bonfire

Subject: The Bonfire Mon Oct 24, 2011 4:31 pm

The huge fiery bonfire in the middle of the village. It's kept going continuously, and is a great place to get warm.

I walk over shakily to the bonfire and sit on a nearby log. I take out my notepad. The picture of the scarred horse is still there, though I haven't added details. I shrug and work on the outline.

I boisterously stomp through the trees. "ANYONE OUT HERE?" I shout as loud as I could.

I jump into the air as a horse walks in. Upon closer look I see it's a PEGASUS! "Oh my gosh!" I squeal, whipping out my notebook and turning to a clean page.

My eyes grow huge and I take a pace back. "Um...I don't mean to interrupt anything. I was just trying to find Aliss," I say, not realizing that she can't understand me.

"Hold still," I say to the pegasus sternly, who's getting antsy. "I'm allllmost done."

I shook my mane. "No way!" I say. Then I begin prancing around just to bug her.

The pegasus starts prancing around. "Hey! Stop!" I sketch furiously, trying to get a glimpse of it standing still, but it's nearly impossible.

I laugh, then flap my wings ferociously sending a shower of feathers all over her. I fly around and do loops in the sky to show off how awesome I am.

I duck under a tree to dodge the feathers raining down. "Stupid pegasus," I sigh, only halfway done with the drawing. I close the notebook and set it on the ground.

I land on the ground. "I'm NOT stupid. Why don't you think I'm AWESOME?" I ask.

I squint my eyes and look at the pegasus strangely. "It's so weird that the wings can support the body weight. I wonder how it even works." I shake my head.

I stick my head out and do the 'Bambi' eyes at her. Maybe then she'll think I'm awesome. I tuck my wings firmly by my side.

"What do you want from me?!" I ask the pegasus who's just plain acting weird. "I'm going togo find Erios so I can ride her. You're freaking me out." Maybe it wants attention or something, I think as I walk away.

The village comes into view and I see a girl and.....a pegasus....weird. Maybe that's what was making the noise. None of them are freaked out.

I huff loudly. "Fine then. DON'T think I'm awesome." I say, taking off and flying overhead.

I shake my head at the strange pegasus and keep walking to the stables, hoping Erios is there. The drawing in my notebook isn't close to being done. Maybe later, I think.

I trot over and spot Flora.

I stay low and scout around the area, to make sure there aren't any evil spirits or anything.

"Hi, Erios," I grin. "Let's go to the stables and get some riding gear." I start walking.

I wind an arc around to the back of the stables. Not a twig snapped under my feet. Not even the snow crunched.

I walked in with Greyson trailing behind me. There was supposivly a victim I was supposed to kill here. But all I saw was horses.

I saw a strange lady and a horse following her. The lady was suspicious, she had blood on her shirt. I kept a sharp eye on her, hidden in the trees. You could in fact, partly see them through me, which helped in camouflage.

I sat down near the fire and sighed.

I stood, protectivly, by her side. I sensed someone and I didn't like it.

I stood stock still and watched the girl. I shivered as the wind blew threw me.

"Greyson, we have another victim to kill tomorrow," I told the horse. I was staring at the flames as I watched them dance.

I tossed my head, causing my mane to fly up. I snorted.

"Hey! It is not my problem that people don't want to listen so they send me to kill them," I exclaimed. That was Greyson's annoyed snort.

I listened closely. This girl...she was going to MURDER someone?!?!? I couldn't let that happen, not after what happened to me. I would have to keep following her. My ears were pricked even higher in anticipation for her to say more.
