I look around. Seems like a decent area. The wind doesn't stir through the tall pines. This would do. I gathered some moss I found under the snow and used it as a bed for myself. Not that I could lie down for long anyways, but it pays to help. I forced my way under the cover of a huge pine tree, it's branches sinking down with the weight of the snow. Pine needles pricked my black fur. I found that underneath it was perfectly preserved from the snow. I set the moss down and collapsed on it in a huff, exhausted from the day's travels.
